• “SMART-FIX” is an application-based service for repairs and fixing of any types of devices such as smart-phones, laptops and other electronic devices in Kuwait.

• Through a centralized repair centre and pick and drop service, the idea is to provide quick and reliable repair and fixing of their electronic devices of the customers. The customers can request for home visits through app or phone calls to test and pick the devices by the Smart Fix technicians.

Generally, customers get frustrated if their electronic devices like smart-phones, laptops etc. stop working because it affects their daily routine. So, it will save time and efforts in the searching for good shops nearby. The customers can request for technicians to come over and test their devices, quote price and if agreeable go back and get the repairs done in quick time and get it delivered back to customers place. So, it means customer don’t have to worry about anything other then sending repair request through app or phone call.

• Nowadays, it is a ‘Use and Throw’ trend followed all around the world. Electronic items are commonly found in use in every sphere of life. But, in case of a laptop or smart-phone breakdown, it is sometimes difficult to get it fixed and so people prefer to throw the broken device away. This causes lot of e-wastes. Smart Fix will enable people to re-use the electronic devices by fixing them and increasing their lives. This will help to reduce e-wastes and damage to environment.

• How would the customer will come to know the status of device being repaired?

• As its app based, the system will notify the customer through app, or email or the staff will call on moblle number when the repairs are completed. So, there is no need to worry about your device. Normally, the real time status repair can be known by customer by logging on to the app and seeing the current status.

• What are the delivery options provided?

• On receiving the request for repairs, from customers through app or phone calls, the technician team would be sent to the customer place to inspect the devices. The technicians will also provide the quote and then take the device for repairs to the centralized repair centre. The repairs would be made at the earliest and then the technician /delivery team would drop the devices back at the customers doorstep.
